malcolm,
you might want to check that:
slightly higher res 300 to 360dpi
more usual for comercial printing
check with your printer.
and this is going to come up as the next bit of discussion, so you might want to specify what file formats you can take:
JPG is lossy compression, but high spec jpg, you wont really notice.
Tiff is standard but files are like elephants.
Gif perfect if its line art or blocks of solid colour.
photoshop and illustrator native or PDF seem to be generally what I'm working in nowdays (illustrator 9 native is a pdf in disguise)
Oh and I might have to enter just so it doesn't have a brush script font
