This is for those that do not notice a change.
I hoped this was going to only take a couple of hours. I have now been working on it for 12 hours and I am about to pass out for over tierness.

Unfortunately I could not transfer across to SQL the either/or topic and a few other extra long posts with over 1000 replies (sorry it those were yours, I stilll have copies of them)
I still need to do a lot of fine tuning on this new system. Hopefully it is going enough for your to post a reply

I will work on it more in the morning.
I have already found some errors but please also feel free to post them here so i can continue on them tomorrow.

Kindest regards

Malcolm

Gold star for you, Malcolm - you've clearly been busy. Being an old fart the changes will take some getting used to but the board looks a lot brighter.

Presuming old PMs won't be restored Nay worries though, sure there was not anything there I can't live without.

Get a good sleep! Ta for all your hard work Malcolm
- that definitely derserves 3 gold stars.

It's cool! Obviously will take some getting used to but I'm liking all the customisation features.

12 hours! Eek! Must have been a huge job so well done!

Testing the edit feature and to note that the dates are in US format!

Been working 18 hours now. Preparing the changeover took 3 weeks. getting ready this morning was 6 hours and the script was supposed to take 2 hours to complete. Sadly it could not handle some of the huge posts. I will reopen the old bulletin board tomorrow so you can read old topics and posts. but you will not beable to create topics or reply to the old system.
I think I have also today managed to scratch my head so much when things went wrong that I have a hole in my head

WHOAH!

I must admit that I mourned the loss of the old look, but only for about a minute. Now I'm logged in I think it's all good, especially that there's new options to play with ! and the graemlins have been kept :

My, you do sound tired Malcolm. Sleep well, and thank you for all your hard work

Great job with the switch Malcom!

Hate to give you more work to do, but most of the introduction posts are MIA *cough* including mine *cough*. Any info on if those are going to be transfered?

Thanks
