Can anyone do Fire Hula Hoop?

Can anyone do Fire Hula Hoop?
I saw this picture from Circus OZ once and this HulaHoop girl was hooping a Firey Hoop, it looked amazing, does anyone know how to do it? assuming you can HulaHoop of course.

Haven't done it, but I've seen something like it--a girl had a hula hoop made of metal with 4 (? I think) short arms welded on so they stuck straight out, each with a flame on the end. So the hoop itself wasn't ablaze. Pretty cool.

Last I knew Kerri at Fireworks was giving this a go..or knew someone who does. You might wanna email her.
If I could hula hoop I have an idea to make the hoop itself on fire but since I can't, it's just an idea for a toy I'll never use.

I saw the girl from Circus Oz do this in January last year when they were in Sydney. She was amazing! Unfortunately it was before I got into fire so I didn't take much notice of how the hoop was wicked.

Circus Oz do lessons and workshops when they're in Melbourne. It might be worth giving them a call.

Your talking about Kareena Oates in Circus Oz. I did a couple of classes with her at Circus Oz workshops and she's pretty intense. Very serious about her work. She does a single fire hoop in the show but most of the acts made up of normal hoops, but lots of them. Yer know what I mean. Like dropped on to her from the big top roof. SICK! Anyway, ya right Pele, Kerri has picked it up already. It always helps if you can already hoop. Another girl in our group, Sam Starr, has been doing it for ages and does some ace shit. A friend i've mine, Jodie, has been performing hoops for a while and i'm helping her add fire to her act. That should be cool. So, there is a bit of fire hooping going on, well at least in Melbourne. Maybe there's others out there?

i have some pictures of the hula girl from toybox circus at earthcore earlier this year. not on fire tho sorry, but she impressed the hell out of me - amazing tricks good luck with the fire endeavours

You guys shoula checked out the chicks at The Burning man Decompression party In San Fran this Sunday, they weren't doing fire... They However were unbelievable with what they could do with the hoops I'd never even imagined!
