.........Every Friday night at Lake Placid.

Heya! For the last few months we have been having a great time down at Lake Placid
(still water...mountains..!!!!!)

This event is run by Flameable Firetribes, with equipment and fuel (pegasol) supplied (for a fair donation).

The night is turning out to be quite a night out for the local folk, (and many more coming from far and wide) with some drummers and a couple of DJs making a regular contribution to a great night.

So come along, bring your gear, instruments, and chilled groove, and enjoy a great night on the water front..........

Lake Placid is about 10-15 Minutes' drive from Cairns heading north.
As there is only one road out (Captain Cook Highway), you cant get too lost.
Drive out to Tjapukai Aboriginal Park, turn left, drive for about 1 minute, until you see the signs to Lake Placid, turn right and follow the signs...... drum beats... and sounds of laughter.....

If not, there is a local bus service from the city.
