Big Day Out 2004 - calling all ANZAC kiddies

I was lucky enough to fire twirl at the last one and I've already been to 5 so far and I thought I'd had enough, but I'm getting the bug again. I really want to see Basement Jaxx, Gerling always rock, I missed Salmonella Dub every other time, Aphex Twin is can't-be-missed classic, Pnau, Sonic Animation and Friendly will Oz things up a bit for us, Audio Bullys sound like they'd be fun to see and King Kapisi, 1200 Techniques and Black Eye Peas around to funk it up. it'll all be good. And I always discover something new at a BDO too. It pays to wander. Should have my HOP LED poi by then too.

All I know is the last date is Perth on 1st Feb - I am mighty irritated as I fly into Perth that evening... (ie. just a few hours too late to go)

i think its in sydney on 26th of jan.
am very annoyed cos im running a youth leadership program that week, and wont be free til 6pm on that day.

The date of the Qld Gold Coast one is the 18th (I'm pretty certain) of Jan (Sunday). I am so definitely going.. Dandy Warhols, Basement Jaxx, Aphex Twin yay!

I have not twirled at a BDO ever... but definitely taking some glowies to this one...

I've just arranged to go to the Auckland one with a mate on the 16th. But I've only been using my fire staff for 4 days, so I prolly won't take it with me. or maybe I will, will prolly stay over in Aucks for the weekend if I find a place to crash.

BDO Auckland 16th was Ausome! The Metalica set at the end of the day absoluty rocked! Even though I lost half a toenail moshing right up at the front of the stage and had to barge back out and get it fixed up.
Even got to see some nice Firepoi and firestaff permances by someone at the Lillypad stage. Anyone know who it was? I took some pictures of them. Should I post them up here or is it not a good idea to post pictures of other people without their permision?

I'm sure the Ausie BDO's will be even better. Enjoy Do NOT miss Metalica, its and ausome show.
