3.5" monkey fist fire poi from HOP

has anyone bought these? if so are they worth the price, and how friggin big are the flames!? lol i imagine it would be well worth it, and i like heavy poi, i can see myself flinging those about dodging giant balls of fire haha, nah it would be a good show

should i buy these?

theyre WAY beyond heavy....and the flames are massive....havnt used the snakes yet but methinks ill be getting some soon...

oh! and the max burn time ive gotten so far is over 15 min on the 3.5

if they are the same ones that rory (bovmunkee) owns then they are *seriously* when soaked.

i span some of these at glastonbury the year before last.

they had been dipped the night before and kept in a plastic bag in a hot tent all day.

when i lit them, thay still burnt for a good 10 minutes!

for me, they are very much a big flame toy which kind of negates the point of such a long burn time as the weight restricts the movesets i felt comfortable using with them.

the firesnakes look okay.

but i just found these and have fallen in love

good luck spinning those...they weigh ALOT more than the 3.5s

just wanted to share since I'm really excited about them, but I just spun my monkey fists for the first time and dear god I'm in love! They are ridiculously heavy but that just makes it more of a work out and way more interesting than the other set I have. I know this is a dead thread but I wasn't sure where to share this fun news...well I think its fun at least...*sigh* the other good news is that by spinning tonight I've gotten another person interested in spinning....mwahahah, we will take over the world...

wow, that's awesome! yeah I still can't do flowers... I just can't get the rhythm down or something, I don't understand. but nice work!
