15th New Zealand Juggling & Circus Festival 22 - 25 February 2007

Over four days more than 20 workshops take place in a huge range of juggling and circus skills, with levels from beginners to advanced. This includes juggling balls, clubs, diabolo, devilstick, acrobatics, mime, clowning, balloon sculpting, unicycling, footbag, staff, poi, and more.

In the evenings there are informal and formal shows, a fire party and a marquee equiped with asound system and UV lights. You can juggle and play all night.... People do!

I'm happy to do some strange poi workshops if you like.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding out info about the convention tho, festival.juggle.org.nz/ isn't showing any content, i also found a link to from here http://www.juggling.org/festivals/upcoming/world.html but that link doesn't work either.

I have a flyer here for the event that someone left at Circadia. The contact details are the phone number and email address for the holiday park that you can camp at/ book accommodation with: raglanholidaypark at xtra dot co dot nz. Phone number +64 then (0)7 then 825 then 8283.

There is also a mailing address: NZ Juggling Association PO Box 9232 Marion Square Wellington. They say it is $50 or $40 earlybird and the only payment option given is by cheque. Clearly not intended for overseas registration...

Perhaps you just book/pay at the door? It says they usually have about 200 people so I guess they can accommodate whoever turns up without too much stress...

According to the flyer, the Festival opens at 12noon Thursday, there is a renegade Friday, Juggling olympics/ Public show/Fireshow Saturday, ends 1pm Sunday. They ask on the rego form if you want to teach a workshop, be in the renegade/public/fire shows. Have fun!

Typical. Stuck in Wgtn for Cuba Street Carnival. The curse of retail. Fun with Fire have got a float in the parade, but it's not going to compare to that fire party....

CCC: i'm in christchurch at th emoment, hanging out at the buskers festival, will be here for a another few weeks than fly to aukland, meet up with some mates and head down to raglan.

Just did Culture fest on Waiheke last weekend,Groove in the park on tue,Fringe next weekend and the one after then juggling fest and soundsplash at the same time in the same town!!!

I enjoyed myself thoroughly at this festival. I'm so glad I got to see everyone one last time before I go back to the states! Cheers to everyone who made this festival possible, especially Colin! I'm going to miss you all very much.
