This device is a low cost alternative to the various quicklinks available, but only for use on non-fire applications with light weight heads, as the nickle plated steel construction is not as strong or corrosion resistant as the stainless steel quicklinks of larger diameter wire size.

For fire applications or for heavier head types, we recommend our stainless steel oval quicklinks or triangle quicklinks.
