Nickel plating does not stand up to Fire and this ballchain is more prone to rust as any plating will wear off in time.
A suitable chain for non fire use, but should definitely not be used with fire poi as the heat will increase the rate of corrosion. Use only Stainless Steel Ball Chain with fire products.
