My son has been waiting Months for us to be able to purchase his poi! We have friends that Fire Spin but I told him since he was 15 he would have to wait, these make make the waiting easier and a lot more fun. He had taken to spinning like a duck to water!! I was a little apprehensive about these, but thought I'd give them a chance. They are absolutely gorgeous. The tails are very long, so they are good for teaching you to keep your planes straight. Meaning I'm having problems, but they're so pretty, I'm having fun getting things right. A salon owner at a bar watched me use these, and invited me to perform at her salon's next hair show. That's how beautiful they are. I also caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror and found I looked like something bursting out of a chysalis. They really put on a stunning show. They're light, but not too light, so they're a fun break from heavy poi. The tails make a light flapping sound as you spin. The loops are the same smooth ones that colecords are equipped with, so very comfortable.
