I took advantage of getting the free "Backyard spinners' guide to fire" DVD which includes fire safety and a sobering interview with Pele reminding everyone that this art should be practiced with caution. Most other companies just throw in an obligatory safety caution once they've made their sales, but Home of Poi goes the extra mile. Also on the DVD is a very inspiring and uplifting video on a fire twirler named Sage.
Shipping time was phenomenal and the courtesy follow up is another sign of a company that puts customer service first. It's important that everyone who dances with fire in any way is aware of all the possible safety precautions. It only takes one slight moment of distraction to cause a serious injury to yourself or someone else.
