Rainbow LED Glow Ball review

My hubby and I ordered just one pair of these with our first order, and we knew within minutes of opening the box that we quickly had to get a set of these for all 3 of us (we spin with our teenager), plus a few extra for gifts. We pair these with the simple nylon cords sold on here, which works very well. These glow balls have a great weight and feel to them when spinning, and are a fantastic way to transition from your first learning set to fire poi. We compared the weight and size of these to the monkey fist poi that the performing group we are learning from use, and the weight and size are very close to what we'll be spinning fire with.
Plus, these little babies just rock! The glow is very soft, and the transition between colors is subtle, but at night looks really great when spinning. Turn 'em on at night and have a blast!
 

Monkey fists!!

I am so happy with my new Monkey Fists. Extremely well built and sturdy feeling. Great grips, smooth strong chain, nice swivels. Feels like I could never break these. I still have to get used to the added weight over my old square-headed ones, I've wonked myself in the head a few times and man does it hurt! I even gave myself a nice black eye. But no one ever said playing with fire (or Monkey Fists) was painless. Pretty soon I'll be spinning these bad boys with impunity and lighting up the night sky for all to see. (Johnny Cautious says "Get used to your poi before you light them up!!")

I have watched the DVD through once, and am excited to try out everything in my practice. There are so many great suggestions and ideas on this DVD! I also appreciate the health/warm up info that it provided. Once of the best things about it is that Nick is really enjoying himself and his passion for the art definitely shines through. Great job Nick!!!!
