Having always practised with fire poi and gained quite a few nasty bumps and bruises, I decided to buy some softer poi to learn with. These are quite soft and light though weighty enough to learn well with. The detchable tails look and sound great- that extra length ensures you give yourself a good margin between your body and the poi, which I found invaluable practise for fire poi. The DVD is also excellent with clear and easy-to-follow tutorials, as well as some of the most amazing videos from COL2. I'd definatly recomend these to anyone who likes using fabric poi as well as to those who prefer fire poi, because they are such good learning tools. |

Wow- the service is fantastic! As I live in the UK, I was prepared to wait for around three or four weeks for my poi- but they arrived after only THREE DAYS!! I had a minor problem with my order (my fault, I accidently entered the wrong address) and the support was excellent- the problem was fixed within hours. With service like this, and decent prices, there's no need to risk buying from dodgy sources on ebay! |

This is a great product for anyone who is learning the basics of poi. If you are anything like me you will hit yourself many, many times before you learn where to swing 'em. Luckily these fuzzy poi are soft as can be and feel like clouds resting gently on top of your head. Just kidding...they don't really feel good when they come crashing down, but they don't really hurt either. Also if you long for some glow effect, i have found that attaching a couple of glow sticks or LED's makes them even more fun to learn with. I was able to pick up a lot of tricks using these things. They aren't as scary as say; fire and beaming poi. So i was able to be more wreckless in my practice and only a month later i have improved enough to start using the beaming poi. I would highly recommend the fuzzy poi for begginers. They are the best way to get better, faster. |
