I am a beginner and Home of Poi recommended the Cube Cathedral wicks. They arrived in 1 week. They are great. Easy to use, not heavy, and made my first fire spin a great memory. I will definitely continue to shop here for our fire dancing needs.

How much do I love these poi?? Let me count the ways: 1) They are SUPER smooth and perfectly constructed. 2) The color shift is so subtle and beautiful, and the colors themselves are gorgeous! 3) The battery compartment is ingenious and seamless. 4) They look wonderful spinning. 5) They're perfect practice poi for those wanting to move up to fire (like myself). 6) They are fairly soft and tho' I don't have experience with others I think they're probably less painful than others, however I do have a nice bruise to commemorate my first spin with them. :) 7) My puppy thinks they're so beautiful she barks and jumps like crazy when I spin..... 8^)
