I am very new to Poi and decided this to be my 1st set for many reasons. I wanted something that would allow me to convert to fire poi which this does. I also wanted a instructional video.
The Poi has a very nice feel while spinning and are soft. Haha!! I must have beat myself in the face and other non-mentionable areas the 1st day. I watched the video and was doing weaves and such after about 5 days. The video starts from the basics and moves on through intermediate and advanced. Very helpful and it does not hurt that she is very pretty. Love the accent.
Anyways, if you are looking for a starter kit or if you want a good practice set then this is for you. I am happy I purchased it.

pink poi/video set
Reviewer: Derek Massie from United States i got the pink fuzzy poi and video set. they are great. the video really helps. in the three days that ive had it ive learned almost all of the first part of the "Art of Poi". the poi is a good weight for spinning and are soft where you can take a hit and keep going but being a guy it will still take you to your knees if they get you right(if you get where im coming from). I highly recommend these to anyone starting out. i really enjoy them and look forward to hours of play with them.
