Crazy Cool!Reviewer: Daniel Schuette from United StatesThese look so good spinning! They are durable with just the right amount of weight. The velvcro tail attachment is perfect for easy removal and attachment of the tails. I don't regret the purchase! Oh So Pretty!Reviewer: Jennifer Moulthrop from United StatesI received my Ultra Rainbow Poi today in the mail, and I def. am glad I purchased them. The only downfall is that I am not used to the tails and they can get tangled, but since they are removable, problem is solved! I cant wait to get used to them so that I can be able to use the tails, but I def. reccommend them, they are pretty and durable too. And another plus... they dont hurt when you smack yourself! Very good for a beginner (as I am one.) WOOO-HOOO!Reviewer: Andrea Gill from New Zealand
I am very happy with my rainbow poi! Am a complete beginner, so glad the tails are very easy on/off, it will make it easier for me to graduate as I get more experienced. They don't hurt too much when you do that tricky beginners move of hitting your opposite ear from behind your back!
My main confusion so far is with the instructional DVD that I got, as it shows poi with a single hand strap that you hold different ways, whereas my poi have two loops which i assumed was for the index & second finger? (as I said Im a COMPLETE beginner!)
The lady is such a classic kiwi though & is a fantastic proponent of poi, I was a bit scared as she moved onto amazing things making it look so easy and they were still classed as 'beginners' moves, eeek! What could be really useful there is SLOW MOTION of some of the movements I think?
Anyway, I will soon be attending workshops on how to use Poi with Bellydance, and hope some one-on-one instruction will help me get a grip!
Wish me luck!
