Having used the 5-pronged fire fans from HomeofPoi and being acclimatised to their heaviness in comparison to other fire fans I have used, these fans are noticeably lighter in comparison and will produce a large arc of flame that will be slightly more welcoming to firedancers of smaller stature. To new and existing users, however, lots of wrist stretching is recommended before a burn or practice session.

O.M.G! Thankyou Home Of Poi!
I have been spinning my little heart out on these, I can't believe how natural they feel! They just really feel right! I'm converted and I ain't never going back to strings!
The major benefits have been:
1) I can go from short to long poi and back again in a few cirles, so easily!
2) I can do wraps now!
3) At night they are sooo impressive, amazing when you are doing flowers, simply georgous!
4) I recieved discount cards for all of my friends from the generous Gods at Home Of Poi!
5) THEY ARE MINE!! HEHEHEHEHE
Down Sides:
1) I'm the only one with them at the moment so I have to keep waiting in line to use em' when my mates get in on it! =)

I am the director of a fire performance troupe in the US and we perform with staffs, batons, fans of every size, swords, torches, balance fire bowls...you name it. We never thought of anything so simple that makes such a wonderful instrument to perform with. We are using fans and poi around the orb dancer, and still the orb seems to have a magical, trance like quality as you watch it. Firemystics love it. |
