I have been interested in poi spinning and recently bought my first beginners poi set (flag poi, for almost twice the cost you sell it for) at a local juggling shop, with the goal of practicing until I felt comfortable enough to buy a fire poi set. Once I started learning tricks, I realized I wanted/needed more info about fire poi, safety, etc. before diving head-first into it. I found your website, and this video, and I am SO glad I did! It answered every question I had, plus some I didn't know I would have. Not to mention the amazing stories throughout, and INSPIRING performances by Sage at the end. And to top it all off... you guys shipped it all the way to me (in Portland, Oregon USA) FOR FREE! How awesome are you guys?!? I just purchased a sock poi set, and am gearing up to buy a fire set soon... thank you for being here for me, I can't even begin to tell you what poi is doing for my body, mind and spirit... and I don't know if I could spin without you!! :D |

I have watched the DVD through once, and am excited to try out everything in my practice. There are so many great suggestions and ideas on this DVD! I also appreciate the health/warm up info that it provided. Once of the best things about it is that Nick is really enjoying himself and his passion for the art definitely shines through. This is almost too good. Nick has such a smiley friendly way of teaching it just makes you wanna go out and spin sometimes before you've finished watching the video. Amazing stuff! Without a doubt the best teaching resouce for people wanting more from their poi spinning. |
