I have been playing with Poi for almost a year now. I just recently purchased this book from HOP and my repertoire of moves has doubled! Very clear instruction, great illustrations, and great tips on trying stuff on your own! Totally worth it!

Although full of beginner's, intermediate, and even difficult moves, this book isn't just for regular poisters. There are sections for other types of poi, fire and sock for example. I am very pleased with the advice and guidance this book shares. It has helped me recognize my bad habits of spinning poi, and given very good advice to fixing them and then solidifying good ones.

It may be more or less the only book written on poi, but it leaves no room for another. It's well written, full of informative tips and the writing style is clear and accessible. The diagrams are also excellent. If you don't get this, regardless of level, then you're a muppet.!
