So no, these won't really rock you, especially not if you spin poi, but anybody who I ever tried teaching these too found doing them same-way to be terribly awkward, but these are also the most rewarding.
To get into the Waist Wrap from these: when the left hand just exited the reel (when it is waving; in split time) make it follow the right hand under the right armpit; proceed with the waist wrap
