Alternate Butterfly (Horizontal)

 As the name says, this is the horizontal version of the Mexican Wave or Alternate Butterfly. This is an easy variation. Start doing the Mexican wave and then learn forward and swing the poi in the horizontal plane. You will also be able to do this move to either side of your body. Also try bending your knees and see how close to the ground you can get this pattern.

Yes does look similar. These Poi are moving in opposite directions.
Whereas a Corkscrew would have the Poi moving both in the same direction, one following the other.

ooh i like it haven't seen this move before i don't think. people generally stick to the corkscrew which is always fun but a bit too simple.
