Interesting design. That will either work really well as a tattoo, or really badly. The high level of colour could make it too busy for a tattoo.

I can't say I'm fond of it...but I think black would make it look nicer..
Having said that I only like minimal colour in tats and like things to be pretty and girly so it's prolly a bit of a biased view

thats a vague final design i think im going to tone down most of the colours and add some shading to the snake to make it more lifelike - mainly i wanted to get something sorted - this is by no means final as im still not happy with it by a long way
