I just started palying poi yesterday, any tips for me? what moves should i study first?

first you should put your poi down and learn all the modes with your arms, same time same direction, same time opposite direction, split time same direction, split time oppositie direction, all forward and backward ...and look up nick woolsey im pretty sure 90% of people started by watching him...sadly I wasnt so lucky.

How goes it ?¿

Enjoy the learning process a lot of my students find it frustration they aren't developing quickly. I always tell them that if you enjoy and embrace not being good a what you are at poi then you don't need to focus on the end goal because you are having fun in the process.

complete beginner here ............. nick's videos are class........... we love poi site for all the vids ! i have watched a few tutorials an Nick is the best ive seen yet ............ keep spinning =)
