well, more like almost *twice* as long as poi, since you mostly hold the staffs in the middle. I agree, tits are a pain, i'd be a lot better off without them ;) About heights, I'm a shorty, about 5'6" I think, and I have no problems with 1 metre staffs (um, 3 feet 4 inches? I can't think in imperial!). Even at my height, I could probably have them longer, so you or the guys could probably have them a lot longer, maybe up to 1.2 metres. Have fun :)
